New chapter published on strengthening European Energy Policy

A new chapter authored by Claire Brown has been published in the collaborative book series Strengthening European Energy Policy: Governance Recommendations from Innovative Interdisciplinary Collaborations.
The series, edited by Ami Crowther, Chris Foulds, Rosie Robison (Anglia Ruskin University), and Ganna Gladkykh (European Energy Research Alliance), highlights strategies to enhance European energy policy in alignment with the EU Green Deal. It showcases the transformative potential of interdisciplinary approaches, bringing together Social Sciences, Humanities, and Natural and Technical Sciences to tackle societal challenges. The collaborative effort involved 154 researchers from 23 European countries and features additional insights from policymakers, business representatatives and citizen voices.
Claire Brown’s chapter is among those that explore key themes such as community participation, the built environment, delivering new technologies, and innovative modeling techniques. Each chapter addresses a specific policy recommendation, for the relevant climate, energy, and mobility strategies of the EU Green Deal.
The books showcase the opportunities, benefits, and need for collaboration across disciplines to address societal challenges.
